Voyager - youth leadership training for people with disabilities.

When you think of a leader who springs to mind?  Many of us can list a host of leaders whether in our immediate circle of acquaintances or a known personality.  What does leadership mean to you?  Well, everyone has a different answer to this question.  Even more so in the disability sector, this is why we have launched Voyager.

PHAB (who has experience in developing leadership training for young people with disabilities) has partnered with YES Disability Resource Centre to embrace the development of Voyager.
This awesome leadership program is tailor made to recipients and equips them with the tools to chart their own journey.  The uniqueness of Voyager is being demonstrated right from the beginning by having two recipients involved in developing the program and its launch.

The Voyager program will provide opportunities for young people with disabilities to further develop their leadership capacity and capability.  Through embracing personal learning style, goals, and processes.  Voyager will enable access to leadership development plans and regular workshops that enable individuals to move from a receiver of services, to being of service.
