DISABILTY PROVIDERS NETWORK MEETINGS
The YES Disability Resource Centre hosts bi-monthly community network meetings for local disability providers. These meetings are usually held on the third Monday of every second month and provide an opportunity for providers to interact and update each other on disability related services and events. Meetings follow an informal format where guest speakers present to the group followed by questions and answers and some general networking time. They run from 1:30pm to 2:30 pm and are held at the Lion Foundation House, 3 William Laurie Place, Albany. COMMUNITY PRESENTATIONS
YES Disability Resource Centre staff value their time out in the community presenting their services and demonstrating assistive products for everyday living. During the past year they have thoroughly enjoyed presenting to Retirement Villages and various other senior groups such as 60's Up, Widows and Widowers, RSA, Probus, Womens Institute etc. Presentations are free of charge, last for between 20 to 40 minutes and are relaxed, fun and interactive.
