Before modification in to a fully accessible




The fully accessible kitchen is fitted with two Rise & Fall units.  The first is a corner "L shaped" unit incorporating two ceramic domino hobs with front controls installed to the right hand side of the oven.  On the return is the sink with a shallow bowl and lever taps with the second to the left of the set of drawers.  Each of the Rise & Fall units can be infinitely adjusted, within its range, to suit most users.




The extractor fan can be turned off and on using the switch to the left hand side of the oven housing.




This photograph shows the Rise & Fall island/peninsular unit, the height of which can be infinitely adjusted, within its limits, to suit practically all users. 




The slide out pantry is such a practical storage solution, seen in the corner.


With its total accessibility this kitchen can be used for assessments, demonstrations, and as a teaching facility for most people.  The many unique features assist users to expand their horizons in the kitchen and reduce the limitations placed on them when having to work in an environment that is not suited to them.
