Disability Resource Centre - Royal Oak - Ambulent kitchen
Ambulent kitchen
Although this kitchen has been designed for use by standing clients. with the bench-top at standard height, the microwave has been installed into a unit at a height that allows it to be used by a seated user. The bench-top has been lowered to the left of the sink, providing an accessible area suitable for seated users. Here the pull out able illustrates how additional surface space can be made available, which may be used in many different ways. When finished with the surface slides out of sight and appears as a drawer. Kitchen cabinets and installation by Parris Cabinets. |
